The Election Commissioner is responsible for maintaining all voter registration records and conduction all primary, general and special elections. This office works in conjunction with the Nebraska Secretary of State’s office to ensure compliance with all state and federal election guidelines.
Not all of the races or candidates listed will appear on all ballots in the county, in the manner posted, as some candidates are elected only by district and some candidate races require rotation.
The courthouse is now a polling place for early voters. Registered voters may vote at the County Clerk’s Office anytime during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through November 7th. Election Day is November 8th.
There shall be no campaigning within 200 feet of the courthouse during this time, and all signs found to be in violation will be removed by the County Clerk.
